GETTING STARTED
Welcome to Lynx.
Lynx watches your market for buying signals, matches them against your ideal customer, and hands you the few accounts worth acting on today — with the opening line already written.
It’s not another lead list. It’s the opposite: less noise, better timing. A lynx doesn’t chase the whole forest — it waits, watches, and moves once, precisely.
What it does
Captures the right people as you browse LinkedIn — quietly, only what you actually view. No bulk scraping.
Watches the public web for signals on your accounts: funding, hiring, leadership changes, tech switches, financials.
Scores every lead 0–100 by combining fit, contact strength, signal timing and your team’s warm paths.
Writes a ready outreach angle for the best ones.
Shares across your team — one seller’s contact plus another’s warm path beats either alone.
The one number to trust
Every lead gets an opportunity score (0–100). It answers one question: is this worth acting on right now?
≥ 80Act nowReach out today — fit, fresh signal and a way in all line up
60–79WarmWorth a look this week
< 60WatchLet it sit — Lynx tells you if it heats up
Above 70 always means a fresh signal is driving it — a real “why now” to open with.
What counts as a delivered opportunity
This is what Lynx delivers — and what a plan is measured in. An opportunity is delivered only when it clears every one of these, each an objective check you can see in the record:
1In-ICP accountFits your profile — right seniority and right industry (a wrong-industry company never counts, however senior the person)
2A reachable contactA named person with a LinkedIn profile and a direct channel — email or phone
3A fresh why-nowA live signal on the account within the last 60 days — funding, hiring, tech-stack, tender, news
4A ready openerA signal-aware first message, written for you
5Above the thresholdThe opportunity score clears the bar — the ingredients combine into a real opening, not four weak ones
6New & cleanNever counted before, not a duplicate, not on your erase list
Miss any one and it isn’t a delivered opportunity — you still see the lead and can work it, it just isn’t counted. Every delivery is timestamped in your dashboard, so you always see exactly what you got.
Your first 15 minutes
1
Install the extension
Follow the install guide and activate with your personal token. Takes about 3 minutes.
2
Open the dashboard
Sign in and start on the Today tab — the few things worth your attention right now.
3
Browse LinkedIn as usual
Scroll your feed, view profiles. The Lynx overlay quietly captures relevant people — they appear in Incoming within moments.
4
Try Focus mode
Your best opportunities, one at a time, in score order. Engage, snooze (returns in 3 days), or skip.
The daily rhythm (5–10 min)
Morning: open Today. The digest shows what changed since you were last here — new Act-nows, new signals, anyone to re-engage.
Work the queue: Focus mode, act on the greens. Each card has the contact, the signal, and a suggested opener — reach out via LinkedIn, email or call right from the card.
After you engage: the lead moves to Ongoing. Lynx nudges you if it goes quiet, and lights it up again when a fresh signal hits.
Two power moves
Illuminate — got a name but no context? Paste a LinkedIn URL (or up to 25 at once) and Lynx identifies the person from the public web, anchors them to their company, and builds the full dossier and opener.
Find people — inside any account, Lynx searches the public web for the decision-makers matching your ICP, with evidence links. Add the good ones with one click.
What Lynx will not do
Bulk-scrape or hammer LinkedIn — only what you actually view.
Auto-send messages — you review and send every one. You’re in control.
Keep anyone who asks to be forgotten — objections are honoured permanently.
Tips for the pilot
Browse normally. Lynx gets better the more of your real feed it sees.
Trust the score for order, your judgment for the message. The opener is a strong start, not a script.
Lean on the team. A teammate’s contact at your account is your warmest way in — Lynx surfaces it.
Tell us everything. Confusing, missing, brilliant — your feedback directly shapes what gets built next.
FAQ
The overlay doesn't show on LinkedIn
Refresh the LinkedIn tab once after installing. Still missing? Open chrome://extensions and click the reload icon on the Lynx card, then open a fresh LinkedIn tab.
“Token rejected” when activating
Re-paste your token and check for a trailing space. If it persists, your admin can rotate a new token (Team → rotate) — the old one stops working instantly.
No leads are coming in
Lynx only captures what you actually scroll past — it never bulk-scrapes. Browse your feed normally and leads accumulate within minutes.
What do the two numbers on a lead mean?
The dark number is the OPPORTUNITY score (0–100) — “how good is this right now?” — combining ICP fit, contact strength, signal freshness and your team's warm paths. The ICP pill is FIT (0–100) — “how well does this person match your profile?” Fit says right person; opportunity says right moment. A perfect person at a quiet account reads as high fit but a modest opportunity.
How is the opportunity score built?
≥80 act now, 60–79 warm, <60 watch. Above 70 always means a fresh signal (funding, hiring, tech-stack, tender, news) is driving it — a real “why now”. Hover any score for the breakdown.
How is ICP fit calculated — and can I change it?
Title seniority plus your own ICP title list rank the person; then the company's industry (from enrichment) is matched — a clear miss subtracts. Geography is a bonus only, never a penalty: remote work means a CXO in Germany can run Sweden. Edit industries, titles, sizes and geos in Settings → Edit ICP — saving instantly re-scores your whole pipeline against the new profile.
Why isn't a very senior lead being delivered?
Fit isn't the whole story. A delivered opportunity must clear every bar: in-ICP account (right industry — a Director at a school won't count against a tech profile, however senior), a reachable contact, a fresh signal, a ready opener, and above the threshold. You still see the lead and can work it — it just isn't billed as a delivered opportunity until it truly fits.
Why did my AI action stop working?
The team has a daily AI budget (Settings → AI usage). Automatic jobs stop at the cap so they never eat your quota; manual actions keep working until the hard cap. It resets daily.
Can I get my leads into our CRM?
Yes — per-lead “Hand off” in Ongoing pushes the contact with the full dossier (HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce), or export everything as CSV from All leads.
Someone asked us to delete their data
Settings → Forget person: hard-deletes everything and blocks them from ever re-entering. Takes ten seconds and it's permanent.
Is this okay with LinkedIn/GDPR?
Lynx captures only what you personally view, at human pace, in your own account — and all market intelligence comes from the public web. Erasure and objections are honoured permanently.
